So here's the deal. My little bro, a mere 25 years old, is getting hitched next Thursday evening to his lovely fiance, in a sunset beach wedding in Kauai (ahhhh....and yes, we're going!). It recently came to my attention (through my dear mother) that he has yet to find the perfect duds for his nuptials. He is not looking for a tuxedo. He's not the linen wearing kind of fellow (he's an athletic lawyer for goodness sakes!). And let's nix the Hawaiian shirt idea. For reference as you think through the perfect ensemble, he is 6'4" and fit. I'm thinking something like a brown suit might be nice. He is going shopping on Friday. Please comment and post links with any ideas you might have. Please help my brother look studly, after all it is his wedding.

Maybe send him to Tommy Bahama? They have beach-inspired clothing, but classy looking.

I'm sorry, but it seems to me that you're looking for clothes for the wrong person! Ashen seems to be the one in need...hehehe. Funny (slightly ironic?) picture to post with the request. Love, your bent aunt dede.
I was going to suggest Tommy Bahama, too. Oh, and SUH-WEET that you are going! :)
I think that whatever he chooses will look great on him. Thongs, bermuda shorts (khaki), pale blue shirt and a lightweight formal vest. Yes, brown suit sounds great.....or a mix of all or some of the above....GOOD LUCK.
So as a former Kauai bride myself, you know I have to weigh in! :) Scott might find it helpful to look at photos of what other grooms have done to figure out what he does and doesn't like. Our photographer has a ton on her site (http://www.chrissylambert.com). Another good resource for Hawaiian wedding ideas is http://pacificweddings.com. Many guys seem to do the tan suit or nice Tommy Bahama shirt thing. But really, anything goes. As long as it fits with whatever his fiance is wearing and he's comfortable! If we don't see you before you guys leave have an absolutely fabulous time on the Garden Isle!
Much love,
Mary
