Our little chief is doing really well...eating and sleeping (repeat). We're slowly regaining our energy and finding ourselves going to bed much earlier in the evening in order to get adequate sleep before our 14 month old alarm clock wakes us up every morning around 7am. We're currently mourning the loss of our freedom in the evenings--no more watching our favorite shows, catching up on email, reading or just talking, instead we're making time for sleep. We've been really blessed all week with help during the days...my mom, Mark's big sis and his mom. Makes a difference to have an extra set of hands. We've also been spoiled with delicious dinners every night from various friends and family. I've been able to put my feet up most days and rest...something that is actually hard for me to stick to, but necessary after such a major "event", "life-change", whatever you call pregnancy and labor. We're looking forward to finding our new rhythm over the next few months.

So wonderful to see you all this evening! We're so very blessed to have your friendship and your family in our lives. Can't wait to see how much he's grown (and what new expressions he's got!) after we get back from Hawaii. Will be sending you more pics for his growing album tonight... Love you, m
