My garden is too fabulous to have such a yucky entrance. For years this gate has stood sorry and peeling. Probably not tended to since the 1940's. I've walked in an out of it hundreds of times, always with a bit of disgust. I finally bought some paint--a $4 sample from HD (love the new samples!). And look--a gate makeover! This gate suits the garden much better now. I feel a spring in my step whenever I open it now to head up to feed the veggies.
