One room down...2.5 to go!
Saturday was a HUGE day for us--a milestone. Our first room is totally complete and Ashen moved in! He is so excited for his new room and we're excited he's in there. Torin will move in when he's sleeping through the night...when, oh when?
Ashen's old room had new (old) wood floor put in this week, and Mark will refinish it this weekend. So by the following weekend that room will be complete.
Then it's on to our room. We need to lay wood floor in the addition and do all the finish work in the new bathroom.
We were hoping to be done by Christmas, but as all house remodels go, it won't be done when we hoped. I'm hoping for January. Life is (not) waiting for us! There are too many things we'd rather be doing now other than construction.
Thankful? Yes. Ready to be finished? Yes again.

yum: the color, the floors, the sitting boy/jumping boy, the reflection of the superb windows, the spaciousness of it!!! WOW, it is such an incredible feat.......go team! Bet you could take a couple weeks off now, and in a couple years you would have no recollection of any inconveniences....
