Today is Jan 1st, 2000 in Ethiopia!
The Ethiopian Orthodox calendar is based on the old Coptic and Roman calendars and falls almost eight years behind the Western calendar.
Last weekend we got together with our Ethiopian family group and celebrated with a picnic. Below is a pic of the cutest kids this side of Ethiopia.
