On November 18th, we celebrated Ashen's 1st birthday with our families. I still can't believe how quickly my little boy is growing up. He's practically running now and doesn't look like our little baby anymore. The highlight of his big day was playing with the balloons scattered about the room, and pointing at all the balloons we strung up on the ceiling (we just took them down yesterday and he's having a ball chasing and kicking 5 balloons around the living room as I write this!). He didn't know it was his special day, but he sure did enjoy the devoted attention of all his grandparents and aunts and uncles (sans Scott & Beth).
